BUILD LIVE TOKYO 2010

Build Live Tokyo is an international design competition using Building Information Models (BIM) and a variety of other 3D technologies. Competitive groups have 48 hours to design a structure using BIM tools and present the final scheme using 3D renderings, animation, scale models, or virtual reality.

The theme of the 2010 competition centered on the design of a Japanese cultural museum in a rural region near Mt. Fuji. Our team used parametric modeling tools within 3D Studio Max in addition to BIM software Allplan. Our scheme was rendered with VRay and presented in UC-win/Road. The project was awarded the Industry Foundation Class Award.
